Carnivale on the Green: A Railcar Based Traveling Carnival Railcar # 26
This car is based on the basic house of glass and house of mirrors, a staple attraction of all amusement parks and carnivals.
The challenge of this build was how to cut and mount all the dividing glass walls. The only practical way was to cut matching slots into the floor and ceiling panels to insert the individual acrylic panels. These were made with a laser cutter as it couldn’t be done by hand. To cut the acrylic to be accurate and with clean edges, I also used the laser cutter. Added figures were cast and 3D made along with a Halloween store skeleton.
