Carnivale on the Green: A Railcar Based Traveling Carnival
The early 1950's ushered in the era of UFO hysteria. Flying saucer sightings, human abductions and little green men running hither tither. CARNIVALE would exploit these little guys......of course they would......and taking them to the dark side. The usual Alien act would be an autopsy scene. Going darker, CARNIVALE'S Alien act would have the Alien giving birth! And with three shows daily of babies being born......they’re Aliens remember......they could do that......the babies were piling up. This would create a new revenue source......by design.
THE RUSE:
Made in the mold shop car out of foam rubber for pennies, these would become a hot seller in the souvenir shop rail car. For only $7.50 you could own a genuine baby Martian in a pickle jar.
CATCH PHRASE:
The little guy’s got himself in a pickle......that's the best I could do.
